Lynne, the best mom-in-love ever, kidnapped me on Thursday and brought me to a beautiful hotel in lovely downtown San Francisco. We have enjoyed time with Krista, the best sister-in-love ever, eating seriously amazing food while laughing and catching up.
We spent part of today at Nob Hill Spa. Um...wow. It was SO relaxing. From the pool-side mezze platter to the 50 minute massage, the entire experience was delightful.
We have shopped a bit, but we are really going to get some work done in that department tomorrow. Erik's cousin is getting married in October at a Sonoma vineyard, so somebody probably needs a new dress.
I head home tomorrow, but I told my masseuse earlier today that she makes the world a better place. Why? Because I am positive that I will return to my kids a better mom having spent just this much time away from them. And the massage only increased the Happy Mommy mood.
